MUEFIREC Project (Ultra-Efficient Commercial Refrigeration Cabinets through Advanced Coatings)
MUEFIREC is an innovation project led by EXKAL in collaboration with GLS and LUREDERRA to develop a new generation of more efficient and sustainable refrigerated display cabinets.
The aim is to reduce the energy consumption of commercial refrigeration through new technologies, such as advanced coatings that prevent ice build-up, improved insulation systems, and solutions that make use of waste heat generated by the equipment.
Thanks to these improvements, the project is expected to reduce electricity consumption, lower environmental impact, and improve food preservation.
Through initiatives such as MUEFIREC, EXKAL continues to invest in innovation and in a refrigeration model that is more efficient, sustainable, and ready for the future.
